I recently took a trip to Italy, and I must say it was a beautiful place to go horseback riding. There were many areas that were fitting and quite enjoyable to go horseback riding in Italy, but Tuscany is probably the most enjoyable area. The reason why it’s such a good place to do so, is because there are many parts of that area that are currently empty as people have moved away to other places to live. The scenery is so stunning to just look at, and riding my horse made it even more enjoyable. Everything was perfect on that day in Tuscany. The weather was beautiful, and I had on a new outfit. If you are a rider, you know that breeches are probably the most important factor when it comes to how comfortable you are. My new breeches were not only comfortable, but also fashionable. I believe this had a factor in how happy I was, as I was riding through Tuscany on my horse.
After my day of riding, my family and I went to dinner. We had the typical food that’s notorious for that area such as antipasto and wine. As I was looking at the menu at the Italian restaurant, it took me back to a couple weeks earlier when I was at the Cafe Michelina restaurant in Hoboken, NJ. The Cafe Michelina menu had similar choices as the restaurant I was at in Tuscany. The menu had many choices for antipasto, which made it have a real Italian feel. From seafood salad to broccoli salad, I had a hard choice deciding what to get. I finally decided on the broccoli salad, just because it wasn’t something you could find at every restaurant. The restaurant had a slim choice of wine, but I was able to bring my favorite bottle of wine so that wasn’t a big deal. Because the restaurant in Italy reminded me so much of the restaurant in Hoboken, I decided to order the same meal and order the same type of wine as well.
I truly enjoyed my recent trip to Italy, and the two main parts of the trip I will remember are the food and horseback riding. It’s nice to have a place that’s close to home that could remind me of my trip. I think I will have dinner at Cafe Michelina soon again, so I could once again have that fulfillment I had on that trip to Italy.
